It's so flippin' easy, and I agree that vanilla is trash without the quality of life mods. Idk what to say if they cannot figure out how to mod this game properly. since its one of the largest if not the largest game modding archive on the internet. :)Īs far as not using nexus mods, im not sure why you are hesitating to try now. if mods simply arent working, you are either doing something wrong, or your version of the game is pirated which is why the mods dont work. and checking in the discord if you have problems. i really suggest you try modding subnautica again. especially because of all the time inventory management takes up and handling multiple storages across several different bases, cyclops, and vehicle storage compartments. this game for me is unplayable in vanilla now. its not a huge hassle, honestly at this point after playing for the last several years with mods. It's not worth the hassle just to dock a cyclops. I know how the system works, When I manually drop the mods into the qmods folder they don't work. It's been several years since I used any files from nexus, so no damage to my subnautica install. It consists of Chinese Potato Plants and Marblemelons.Originally posted by Magnificon:Dang people. An abandoned farm constructed by Bart Torgal can also be found here next to a naturally made land bridge. To reach the central Seabase, take the right fork near the beach and follow it around the edge of the Island (It is also possible to simply climb down from one of the mountains to the central Seabase). The path will fork again before a bridge crossing, with each fork leading to one of the two mountaintops. To reach the two mountaintop Seabases, follow the left fork on the dirt path near the beach. There are also three abandoned seabases built by the survivors of the Degasi, one located at the center and one on each of the mountains of the Floating Island. The Arch inside links to the Mountain Island Arch. This one is much easier to access but harder to find. The second is found in a small lump in the ground east of the central lagoon. It can be found on a small ledge just above the large lake in the middle. The Alien Arch Cache can be found in a large cave near the centre of the Island. Bulbo Trees are also edible and can be found growing wild on the island. The Island is a good source of edible plants, namely the Lantern Tree, Marblemelon, and Chinese Potato, which are exclusive to the Island and can be found in various abandoned growbeds. It can be accessed from the main beach or via the underwater entrance at its center. The Floating Island is fully explorable and boasts a wide variety of colorful, terrestrial flora that covers most of the Island's surface. Two smaller observatories doubling as small farms, and a larger farm on the other side of the Island. There, they constructed a main base, which has been partially covered by a mudslide. The Floating Island was also the residence of the Degasi Survivors for a small while. An Abandoned PDA is positioned right beneath the signal, laying on the sand. Keen left behind a signal for the rendezvous point at Lifepod 19. The Floating Island was the rendezvous point for survivors of the Aurora, However, only two made it: Second Officer Keen, and CTO Yu. The climate is tropical, with a great amount of vegetation and a surface temperature that peaks just below 41☌ and never lower than 20☌. It is a large landmass completely supported by Ancient Floaters located underneath the Island. The Floating Island is a unique island biome in Subnautica.
